SARAH LAMBERT, an Associate at Boyarski Fritz LLP, works on a diverse array of matters for the firm with a primary focus on contract drafting, clearances, licensing, intellectual property issues and legal research within the music space for clients such as recording artists, songwriters, producers, influencers, production companies, management companies, record labels, influencers, distributors and music publishers.
Before joining Boyarski Fritz LLP, Sarah held several legal internships in the music space including a role in Universal Music Group's East Coast Business Affairs team in New York where she helped support record labels including Republic, Mercury, Island and Def Jam on a variety of matters. Sarah also interned at the RIAA in Washington D.C. where she honed her skills in music, streaming, and digital trends that affect legal and business sectors.
Sarah graduated from The George Washington University Law School, where she focused on intellectual property law and was an Editor for the Intellectual Property and Entertainment Law Brief.
Sarah received a Bachelor of Arts in Legal Studies (Law and Markets), with a minor in Public Policy from the University of California, Berkeley.
Originally a native of the Los Angeles area, Sarah currently resides in New York City and is pending admission to the New York State Bar.
