HENRY CALLANDER is an Associate at Boyarski Fritz LLP, where he focuses on entertainment, music, media, and intellectual property matters. His practice includes contract drafting and negotiation, intellectual property counseling, and advising clients across the entertainment industry, including artists, producers, production companies, media personalities, and emerging creative businesses.

Before joining the firm, Henry practiced employment litigation at Gordon Rees Scully Mansukhani LLP, where he represented employers in complex workplace disputes and counseling matters. His litigation background provides him with experience navigating high-pressure disputes, negotiations, and strategic client advocacy.

Prior to practicing law, Henry worked extensively in television news and media production. He served as a producer for national broadcast and cable news programs, including CBS Face the Nation, CBS This Morning, CBS Evening News, Cheddar, and MSNBC’s "Velshi." In those roles, he pitched and developed stories, wrote scripts, coordinated live and taped segments, managed on-air talent and guest relations, and worked closely with editorial and production teams in fast-paced newsroom environments.

Henry received his J.D. from Brooklyn Law School, where he earned a Certificate in Intellectual Property, participated in the Brooklyn Entertainment and Sports Law Society, OUTLaws, and worked as a student clinician at the Brooklyn Law Incubator & Policy Clinic. He was also a member of the Alternative Dispute Resolution Honor Society.

Henry earned his undergraduate degree from Georgetown University, where he studied Government and minored in Film and Media Studies. Prior to transferring to Georgetown, he studied film and media production at Chapman University’s Dodge College of Film and Media Arts.

Henry is admitted to practice law in New York and New Jersey, and lives in Brooklyn, NY. He is originally from San Francisco.
