JESSICA BOWMAN is an Associate at Boyarski Fritz LLP, where she focuses on the negotiation and drafting of a broad range of music and entertainment agreements, including recording, publishing, producer, mixer, featured artist, management, distribution, touring, and licensing agreements. She also advises clients across the entertainment industry on related intellectual property matters, including copyright and trademark issues.

 

Before joining Boyarski Fritz, Jessica was most recently an Associate at a music-based boutique entertainment law firm, where she also was a law clerk while attending law school. Prior to attending law school, Jessica spent several years working in the music industry, including as Senior Manager of Business Affairs at Downtown Music, where she worked on an array of music-related legal and business matters. She has also held positions at an artist management company and a music public relations/marketing agency.

 

Jessica received her J.D. from Brooklyn Law School, where she earned a Certificate in Intellectual Property, Media & Information Law and served as Vice President of the Intellectual Property Law Association. She was also a member of the Brooklyn Entertainment and Sports Law Society and OUTLaws. Jessica earned her undergraduate degree from the University of Virginia.

 

Jessica is originally from Rockville, Virginia, and currently lives in Brooklyn.
